We care about your pets—Columbia Animal Shelter is excited to introduce affordable pet wellness services to the community. The new services we offer include both annual wellness visits and non-urgent sick pet exams. Our beautiful state of the art shelter is now home to 3 brand new examination rooms to better serve the Columbia community, surrounding areas, and their furry friends.

Canine Wellness Services

• 4DX (Heartworm and tick-borne disease screen) | $35

• Flea/Tick/Intestinal Parasite Treatment | $15-$60

• Heartworm Preventative* (6-month supply) | $25-$80

• Microchip with lifetime subscription | $25

• Nail Trim | $20

*Heartworm preventative based on patient weight and requires a negative heartworm test.

Laboratory Services (Canine & feline)

• Bloodwork (CBC and chemistry panel) | $80-$150

• Urinalysis | $50

• Fecal Screening (for GI parasites) | $25-$50
