Making the Right Choice for Your Pet's Future: Compassionate Surrender Services at Columbia Animal Shelter.
Due to our small size, there are limits on the number of animals that the Columbia Animal Shelter can safely take in. All surrenders, owned or stray, must come from a Columbia, PA address. Proof of residence will be required. For the safety of our staff, volunteers, and adopters we also require that all intakes must be friendly and able to be handled. All surrenders are by appointment. We often have a waiting list for surrenders and are not able to accommodate walk-ins.
